06 Front Frame Part identification
I just replaced the right and left side black plastic chin spoilers on my 06 convertible - nice replacementparts. While looking around under the nose, I noticed two (left and right) black, coated bars (running front to rear) that I believe are designed to protect the radiator assy from curbing.
Can someone give the GM part name? Assuming you have a pit to work in and can access them easily, how hard are they to replace? Mine are pretty mangled ... and I have plenty of spare time!

Part is about $220 new from GM.
I just lost 3 of the 4 attachment points on my 2007.
This will cause your rad/cond. to drop down and stress the trans cooler lines.
The trans cooler line(lower) then becomes oblong and allows trans fluid to leak out at the rate of 2-4 quarts per hour.
Then the trans does not work causing you to pull over at 6am on 684 in Westchester, NY
Cliff Notes: Replacing or repairing the C6 rad cradle at first signs of damage is not an option.
