Default Front suspension question

Okay, I'm hoping I'm not crazy here... But shouldn't there be a nut on this? Neither side has one. Only had the car a few months. If so, what size?

If you are referring to the leaf spring adjustment stud there.....there is no nut that needs to go on that.

Ah good, I've never dealt with leaf springs before. From your wording though... Do you mean there is not one that needs to go on there? Or that there is not one needed. Lol

It didn't come with a nut from the factory. Therefore it appears as though its not needed, but if you feel the need to put one on there, then fulfill that need and throw one on....but I am pretty sure the need for one would be there from GM if they felt that it needed it.

Try turning the threaded portion.. you'll see real quick why a nut isn't needed

Just a word to the wise, be very careful to keep solvents and aggressive cleaners off of the leaf springs or you run the risk of spring collapse. It's in your owners manual.

Actually, there is already a nut installed, but it's embedded in the leaf spring where you can't see it.

As others mentioned, you can read all about the ride height adjustments by using Advanced Search.
