Default SRS Module

Question Fellas, If A C6 is hit in the front , do you need to have the SRS module reset and replace the front airbag sensors for the car to start ? Thanks Again .

If the air bags deployed, you need to replace the deployed air bags, reset the SRS with a tech II, then the car will start again.

Hence if you crashed the car hard enough to deploy the air bags, then GM wants it back at the dealer to make sure it still road worthy before it will start again.

The GM lan bus loops through all the modules, so if you have a problem in one of the modules or one of the module connectors is unplugged, this could be the problem.

So on that note, start checking the modules around the crashed area of the car. If a front impact crash, check the ABS module and its connector as a start point and work back from there.
