David what are the wheel and tire weights for your various combinations with the weld wheels? How much weight savings from the weld to your race set up?

I went with the tsw for my drag pack because I couldnt find any c5z for a good price and they are listed as 17.95lbs. The weld rears are 19.6lbs.

Street Setup (Ruff Wheels)
Front: 51lbs
Rear: 62lbs

Welds
Front: 34lbs
Rear: 49lbs

Other Drag pack
Front: 26lbs
Rear: 40lbs

Car looks great!! Those Welds are the bomb. My favorite drag pack by a mile.

What stall do you have? Your 1.475 is no joke! The auto is easier on the tires but still, you're moving out.

I've never seen a manual car have any luck with these tires - did they recently change the tread compound? I have several friends who have tried and they were horrible on the track though good on the street and long lasting.

I have a yank ss4000. Best 60/times for those 3 setups are
Street tires: 11.4@122 1.77 60ft
Weld drag pack/nittos: 10.88@123 1.47 60ft
Tsw/hoosiers: 10.78@124 1.43 60ft

David's car is absolutely gorgeous in person on whatever shoes it's wearing at the time and it FLAT OUT WORKS regardless of prep. He puts me to shame in my Z06 all the time.
The silver lining is that sometimes people confuse our cars and people congratulate me on running so fast when it's really David. ;-)
