For anyone looking for a tire that lasts longer than mickey thompson ET streets or hoosier DR here is a good option for you. I decided to mount up some 315/35/17 Nitto 555R on my 17x10.5 welds and tried them out today. Car is a bolt on LS3 that has gone 10.78@124 and 11.44@122 on some 20" nankang street tires. Was looking for a 10.99 and low 1.5 60ft today. Ended up surpassing that with a 10.88@123.8 and 1.47 60ft time. Great results. I will say you do need to be careful with the throttle I couldnt just preload it as much as I could and floor it. I tried a 2000rpm launch and floored it after some fresh prep was laid down and just blew the tires off. Made 10 passes 8 of the 10 were 11.1-10.8 passes.
So in short Id say this tire is a good alternative to other drag radials and at $380 for 2 of them they are a great deal.
Sure thing. I dont have any other pics on the nittos. But heres my lighter drag pack with the stickier tires. Then with my old mickeys. And then the street tires.

Nice. Are all the aero from C7 carbon? Car Looks so clean....I actually like the look as well as the widebody......just much more sleek...

Side skirts fit perfect. The lip bolted up and fits the bumper nice but I did need to massage it into place. The wing was the worse fitting. It has a gap between the bumper and spoiler looking at it from the front. The back lines up perfect with the rear bumper.
