I have a 2010 coupe with non working lumbar support motor and heated seat in the passengers seat. I noticed some corrosion in the electrical connector for the seat, what is the best way to clean the connections?
Jeff
Yup, there are contact cleaners specifically made for the purpose. These are best to use. If you are ever in a pinch and can't use one of these, WD-40 is a good alternative.
Then treat it with the DeoxIT Gold after cleaning. It will treat the contact and keep oxidation away. Good for batteries too, along with any electric connection.
Good stuff!
