Default Help anyone

Have a 2006 Ls-2 Base with 32k miles. Super clean. Have purchased Lingenfelter Air Intake and ARH headers. Want to install Corsa Extreme Exhaust. Can't find them for cat back ?? Can only seem to find axle back's for sale. What exactly do I need to go from the ARH headers the rest of the way back? Thanks in advance as you can tell I'm a newbie

Did you already get the headers (aka open the box)? I believe the ARH's come with the x-pipe of your choosing. You will need O2 harness extensions as well.

Each header company makes headers and the X pipe these are.... KOOKS. The X pipe reaches back and connects to axle back.

You may want to install a tunnel plate to reduce cockpit heat while you have it apart like in the picture above.

No I haven't received them yet. Still at work in Saudi. Be home Monday but my girlfriend said the intake is there. I read they came with the 02 extensions. It did say something about a the x-pipe I just thought it was a short crossover or something. So it would go, headers -> x-pipe -> axle back exhaust ? What about the catalytic converter ? Does it get scrapped ? Or is that what the 02 Sensors extensions are for ? Also I forgot to mention I have the A6 Paddle Shift transmission

X pipe can be had with or w/out catt converters. X pipe with converters cost more money and need 02 extensions. You do understand the car will need to be tuned?

Had Dyno tune and price for that was $550 on top on pipes. Have no catts and tune turned off rear 02 sensors.

You can get the x-pipe with or without high-flow cats. I pretty sure you have the with the cats (most common) and smog legal everywhere but CA for sure and a maybe a few others.

HK770 is right about the tune also, do your research and find a good local / semi-local shop that uses HP Tuners. You will not believe the difference in the A6 after a tune by someone that know what they are doing.

Okay. Yes I knew it would have to be tuned. I understand now i think. I bought the Arh long tube headers from Lingenfelter also. And it says in the description "Headers include the merge pipe high flow catalyst." is this x pipe ? Sorry to be asking so many stupid sounding questions. But if you don't knew you don't know
