Default Manual Trans Question

Hi All, I have an 05' C6 with manual trans. This thing is hard shifting, is that normal on stock early C6's? I have a 2 - 4 by pass installed. When shifting it's sometimes hard to get into next gear, and gear change, doesn't matter. Also on down shifts, not talking 6 - 2 at 70mph. I'm talking 3rd to 2nd at 30mph. Will an after market shifter like MGM make a difference or does the gear box need realigning or replacement. And yes, clutch pedal to the floor on shifts, Thanks

Not to over simplify, but have you checked the clutch fluid level and is there any spillage of fluids around the area of clutch. If you don't already do the turkey baster "Ranger" method of keeping good fluid in the master cylinder, try that. There should be some external clue as to why it not dis-engaging completely.

Good Luck

Clutch not disengaging properly is the first thing that comes to mind for me as well

And make sure you flush really good. A good oil doesn't hurt either. I like this one.
