I have a 2011 ZR1 that came with OnStar and Xm radio.
I would like to swap the radio for a Navigation unit but remain with the stock Denso style corvette navigation unit.
I purchased a Denso unit that came from a 2008 ZO6 and it worked when I fist plugged it in but after unplugging it the "Theft Lock" appeared on the screen.
I tried looking on ebay for unlock services and checked with a couple Chevy dealers but have not found anyone that says they can unlock it.
Anyone done this?
Need a Tech 2. Dealership has to do it. If you were around Dallas, I own one and would do it for free. It takes 5 minutes if that.
The at-home workaround that has been posted in similar threads is for *older* radios (entering codes for the Theft-Loc system in C5 and prior), and will NOT work on a C6 radio.

Hi hitekcm,
I apologize for any inconvenience caused as a result of this situation. If you would like, I can certainly look into this "Theft Lock" concern on my end and locate a different dealership in your area. Please send us a private message along with your full contact information, current mileage, VIN, and zip code if this is something of interest.

FYI -- your 2011's bluetooth steering wheel controls and pairing (if BT equipped) will most likely no longer work if you swap a 2008 radio into your 2011. (2008 OEM radios don't support BT... I think you need a 2009 or newer unit).
