CAGS skip shift eliminator

I bought and installed a Skip shift eliminator for my 2011 ZR1.
It works but the trouble is it pops a trouble code for the CAGS.
Any advice?
Also can anyone tell me about installation details for the fender to hood and bumper to hood seals? Do the seals attach to the top edge of the fender and bumper ? Or are they mounted below the top edge?

Have the CAGS tuned-off.

So I guess in order to turn it off I have to get a dealer to do it or buy some expensive gadget? thanks

I had to install fenders and bumper assembly do the seals hood to bumper and hood to fenders mount on the top edge of fender and bumper or lower ?
