Default DashControl Display Controller for C6

Available for discount for the month of March http://www.dashlogic.com/index.php?r...&product_id=68

DashControl is the most advanced way of displaying vehicle data to date. There is nothing to install, no programing, no changes to your vehicle in any way. Simply plug in the DashControl device to your vehicles OBD-II port and DashControl turns your factory dashboard display into a fully customizable gauge canvas. See all of the data your vehicle has to offer on your Driver Information Center or Head-Up Display. DashControl doesn't stop there, you can also customize visual and audible alerts that you set to any condition for any vehicle value, fully customizable by you. Just in case your car doesn't have a sensor for a value you would like to watch, DashControl also has two auxiliary inputs so you can add up to two aftermarket sensors to be viewed on your DIC or HUD as well as be used for alerts. The DashControl alerts system is a very advanced tool, this is not your run of the mill type of simple alert that only watches one value. DashControl will take into account several conditions for one alert, all of those conditions fully customizable by you. DashControl also tests your performance, use DashControl to get your calculated HP & TQ, 0-60 time as well as your 60 foot, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and standing 1 mile times recorded with a trap speed.

I ordered my DashLogic on 3/18 and just got it today. I did purchase the bundle with the PLX wideband sensor. The WB sensor was here in 3 days, but the dashlogic controller took almost 2 weeks. After emailing the company, was told that they come from different places and that it should be here soon. Better late than never..

I ordered a Dashlogic, and it's recommended I get wideband (for supercharger install soon). I'll get the PLX. But do I just replace my upstream O2 sensors with the widebands, or do I need to weld new bungs? And is it true they should be located upstream of the Cat, and not after it? I'm in CA, and need to stay SMOG legal...
Thanks

Add another bung before the O2 for the WB. Leave front factory O2 as-is

I would weld a new bung. It is best to do them before the Cats.

OK, so upstream (or ahead - flow wise) of the factory bungs. Will that affect CA SMOG?
THANKS!
PS And one WB for each bank, right? Would I need 2 PLX's also?

Just one is fine. Most put it on the driver side as that bank tends to run a little leaner

Are you using factory headers/cats or something else? LS2/3 or LS7?

Not sure about CA smog issues... wouldn't think it would matter but I've been surprised a few times by the rules out there

I would assume since you actually didn't change anything and only installed a sensor it wouldn't effect CARB, but you should check the laws to be sure.
