No LT headers are CARB certified, so I'm running ZR1 exhaust manifolds. I think we can add the bung, and not make it stand out. There's a vid of a Lambo getting "smogged" in CA with both banks monitored. I'll check with my Tuner, Matt. He'll likely know..
Thanks!

Are you using factory headers/cats or something else? LS2/3 or LS7?
Not sure about CA smog issues... wouldn't think it would matter but I've been surprised a few times by the rules out there

I have Z06 manifolds on mine. To add a bung I had to cut some of the heat shielding off and I added it on the bottom, kind of to the side. You could probably add it in such a way that it would be very not noticeable, especially if you didn't hack up the heat shielding and did a good job welding in the bung.
Not being a tuner - how critical is the AFR to monitor? Getting some concern from Tuner/mechanic..

I wasn't planning to log anything - just monitor/read. I understand logging requires even more tuning equipment? With a mild set up and boost, is it really that beneficial? Last question - promise!
Thanks!!!!

You can watch what's going on with Dash logic, no need for anything else (other than a WB). If you want to be able to change things then yeah, you'd need HP Tuners or EFI Live.
For a mild setup plenty of people don't monitor anything. Whether that is a good idea or not is debatable. I wouldn't be comfortable with that but some would prefer it.
