Pfadt headers

Hello guys,

I have a set of pfadt headers that I will be installing on my 2010 GS. Does anyone know how true it is that I can't weld anything on these headers due to their material? I need to have a muffler shop reduce the x pipe connection to the axle back. I was planning on having the shop weld some reducer to fit my 2.5in axle back

Ideas? Possible?

I've never heard of it being an issue (it's thin wall stainless material, and any reputable welder should know the correct way to do it), but I would call PFADT and ask them, to be sure

They are welded together afterall...
