Adding a rear coolant crossover?
Hi all,
I'm sending my heads out for some work (good ol' LS7) and while it is apart, I was curious if there is any benefit or harm in adding a rear coolant crossover. It appears to be pretty simple to do.
Does it help with coolant bleeding or help out with any cooling on the rear cylinders? Is there any harm in doing it - lost pressure in the rear of the head or somesuch?

Might have missed it in the thread but was that an original LS2 crossover or did it come from some other engine model?
