I have just upgraded to a 2010 Z06. I have 14K miles on the car. While aggressively accelerating between 3K and 6K I have some popping noises from engine bay. This only happens when I get on it hard through the gears. I had heard that they had head / valve problems with the LS7. I am reaching out to see if someone could give a little advice?
Thanks in advance
When the popping noise happens, due you feel a loss of power? Could be just a loose spark plug wire creating a miss-fire. They can come loose from either the coil and/or spark plug side, so you may have to pull the fuel rail covers to see.
You should also post over at the ZO6 Discussion forum, as more owners probably hang out there..

I've had a similar issue with a bad plug wire. I did a header install and when I rev'd my motor out it would stutter but no codes and it drove great at low rpm. I would replace your plug wire and check your plugs in my opinion.
