C6 speedometer manual-automatic
Is there a different speedometer for an automatic or manual transmission?

No, both are the same since the information to the dash gauges is sent via GM lan bus digitally instead.

Thanks, for the info. Does that mean the 1-4 shift light is on all speedometers, but doesn't work if you have an automatic?

Yes. "1->4" is on all C6 speedos, but is just never told to illuminate on automatic cars.
