Default Injector adapters??

I have some LS3 length injectors that I need adapted to LS2 length. Where can I buy adapters that mount from the top of the injector? I prefer that style instead.

FIC (Fuel Injector Connection) has some nice ones that mount to the top and have clips.

You only want an adapter that sits on top of the injector. Anything on the bottom affects the spray pattern.

FAST has the ones on the bottom of the injector. FIC and ID has them on top.

Only FAST is dumb enough to put them on the bottom.

Not you.. them

Bottom can mess with the spray pattern

I know ID sells top mount ones, not sure where they get them though or if they make them in house

Injector dynamics and FIC sell them. I can't give you the link because they aren't a vendor, but if you go to one of their sites look under " Height adapters and conversion kits".

If they are the same injector you don't need to adjust the tune. If you are switching brands or flow I would have the tune tweaked.

Yes, you would never install an adapter on the bottom of an injector.

Well that really depends. If the adapters on the bottom really messed up the spray pattern you may have some wall wetting issues that need to be addressed if you are using Deka injectors. If you are using factory GM 42lbs LS3/7 injectors than no, those have a very straight pencil spray patterns and you should be ok. Unless you are using drilled injectors, then you just kind of SOL.
