2006 Z51 LS2 6.0 looking to put in a cool sounding cam that still can idle and give some horsepower for the work. Let me know what you guys suggest.

Lots of options out there. Depends on how aggressive you want to get, what supporting mods you have or planning on getting and what your final goals are. Do a search on it as well. Its more than just swapping out the cam as you need to get new springs and rods for the heads. Look for cam kits. There are plenty out there from LG, Texas Speed and Brian Tooley.

Any idea how much power improvement this could give me over my stock cam? I was told this could bring 100 horsepower. Is that real? What do you guys think? If we agree that it could make that horsepower I will put that in.

40-65ish rwhp depending on cam choice should be pretty close.
