Wow , awesome considering the air temperature

I am still waiting on some cooler air down here as it has been close to 100 every day

Dcasole, I would look into some cooling mods if you haven't already. I am running a 160* thermostat paired with a Casper manual fan switch. I can keep the car at a consistent 180* even in 90* weather.

Good idea , I need to do the 160 stat.

In normal driving it runs around 200 and rarely goes above 215 in heavy traffic

Even with good cooling, I believe if the IAT Temps are high the ECM will start to pull timing , that's why I am waiting for that cool night

Dave

In good air, I see a very very low 12 out of this setup, but I may never find out as I will be ordering nitto nt05r's this week.

I'm considering bracket racing the car in the "street" bracket racing class this weekend at the grove

Thanks for reading guys and gals, and get your car out to a track! You will have a blast and your car will love you for it
Your car will easily run 11's in good air. I've run high 11's at 118 with just a vararam and a cartek dyno tune. I do have the nittos and they work very well. I just drive around the water and do a quick little burnout to clean them off.

These cars are made for the street class because of how hard they charge at the top end. I won street at etown a few weeks ago by dialing real soft and just keeping a fender on everyone at the stripe, as long as you cut a good light. I raced a couple of 11.50 cars that caught me by half track but was able stay out in front of them.

Let us know how you do and how consistent your car is. Mine has not been very consistent so it makes it more difficult to race much faster cars.
