I'd highly recommend talking to Dave at Yank and go with his recommendation. Bigger is not always better as he talked me out of going higher to a 4400 claiming that at my power level it could actually slow me down because of how the shift extensions worked.

You don't need to go crazy with the trans cooler as I run this one and even when I still drove it on the street it didn't get overly hot:

The fronts are 17x5 Racestar Darkstars and I alternate rims on the back as I have two sets. One is a 17x11 ZR1 repro made by AFS, although I think these particular rims have been discontinued.

The other set are 17x9.5" ZR1 OEM rims which are very light.

The 315/35/17 Hoosier drag radial I run fits properly on both rims.

So I’m good friends with Shane. As soon as I bought my C6, we got to talking about a basic setup for it and he along with GP tuning did the custom grind cam for me and he had me put the Yank PAS3800 in it. If it’s a basic power adder car he would recommend the 3400 but 3800 for N/A. He prefers the PAS line over the SS in these applications because it’s still loose enough for me to cut a 1.39 60’ cam only, and it’s tighter up top for better MPH. So take all of that how you will. Yes you will absolutely need a tranny cooler. Any 8x11x1.5” Finned cooler is will be fine. My trans has never seen over 190 degrees in 100 degree summer days after making some pulls. If you have any questions about install or part numbers, shoot me a PM and I’ll give you my #. Car went 10.58 @126.87 with a cam, the converter and basic ported ls3 intake/tb. Full weight, no skinnies (17x9.5 fronts). It went just a little faster and cut a better 60’ than Shane’s old c6
