My '05 Manual Trans is leaking fluid, to which I can tell where it is coming from, but I have no idea what I am looking at to find a replacement seal or gasket. On the drivers side I can look up along side the transmission and see a wire connecting to a sensor, then above that a rectangular cover. One of these 2 things is leaking fluid, so I either need a new seal around the sensor, or a new gasket for the cover. If someone could help me identify these parts, I would greatly appreciate it. Or if someone can give me a link to an exploded diagram of the transmission that would be great too.
Also, if anyone can tell me the easiest way to repair this, that would be appreciated too. Looks like a hard to get into place.

well pretty much he wants someone to tell him what to do/needs how to do it and probably where, I would have took the pics to a chevy dealer and had the parts guy print me the diagram of the tranny and related parts. but it is alot easier if you can get someone else to do it all for you.
First, I would call it a sweat and not a leak. It doesn't look like it drips. I would clean it with some spray solvent and that will allow you to keep an eye on it and see where it is coming from. I also agree about the re-torquing...after you see where it is coming from, a little tightening might just do it. There isn't more than half a teaspoon of fluid there, so it's not urgent.
