Default C6 base tach wire lead

I have searched up and down I can't seem to find the tach wire for my shift left. I even have the cluster out. Read some where a white wire I see no white wire. Looking for asstiance thanks

I have the launch control in the car lnc2000. Can I grab tac from that?

If you have the cluster out then look at the gray connector. Pin #5 is the white wire for engine speed. It is the only complete white wire to that connector.

The gray connector is located at the back of the cluster next to the black connector.

Ya i had that out and i did not see a pure white one .. lets say not as white as other white wires in the car.. ill snap a pic next time ( later today ) i even tapped into the one i thought was could be the white.. left the car in neutral set the shift light to 2k and revved no dice.

Pin 2-not used
Pin 3-red/whit
Pin 4-not used
Pin 5-white
Pin 6-dark green/white
Pin 7-brown
Pin 8-tan/white

It's a 16 pin connector. I listed the complete first row.

cool ill remove it today again and take a look.. are you familiar with the raptor lights. If i set it to 2k rpms and rev it, it should light up correct lol

The white wire also is split to the HUD module. Pin #4 on the HUD module is the engine speed signal. It is also the only pure white wire at the connector.

Yes that image shows the correct wire to tap into.

Perhaps there are dip switches that need to be set correctly on the shift light.

Set the Raptor dip switches to the 1/2 ppr if the 2ppr setting didn't work.

I did a search to see how other C6 owners set the dip switches. The setting is:

2ppm. (4 cylinder mode)
one-off
two-on
three-off
