Default before i replace my EBCM...

2006 manual, base (non-telescoptic steering wheel)

I bought my car with a couple codes on it. when i start the car, the SAH/ABS message appears right away. about once a week, ill start the car and no message, 10 seconds later, flashing emblems on the cluster and the message is back.

Codes were:

C0121- EBCM internal solenoid valve relay circuit

C0899- EBCM low voltage (car is at 11.8-12v with ignition on)

C0252- VSES sensors uncorrelated (had a bad alignment from replacing tie rods and has had alignment since.)

i realize the C0252 is a common code, but i don't see much on the C0121 or C0899 codes.

after lots of searching, I'm leaning towards replacing the circuit side of the EBCM. that being said, are the modules the same for all the 05-08 cars? i see plenty of Zo6 EBCMs for sale on ebay. from what ive read, if its a used unit, i won't need to reprogram it after install.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
-J

I have a EBCM sitting here that I got on eBay but never used, it came from 07 LS2 if you want to try it! I'll sell it for $75 shipped ( paid $350 plus shipping ) no guarantees it will fix it but maybe worth a try?!

The c0121 relay circuit code probably points to the relay inside the ebcm. I replaced the relay in my 01 Chevy s10 when I kept getting the relay circuit code...c0265. I had to crack it open un-solder the board and replace the relay. I have even done them for a few friends. Not sure about the other codes but I thought I would share.
