Found this pix on the net....
Additional arrivals, shitty but clean floor mats to keep the carpet clean...
I bought a " stick " motor mount, since no one can explain the diff between the AUTO or MANUAL version, the "CORRECT " motor mount will be here Friday....
I found this random pix to help with the proper routing...

Wow this was a great save me HOURS thread...
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...c6-2005-a.html
Since my car had ONSTAR and it is missing, I have all the bits ( now ) but the ONSTAR is not the original box in the trunk, actually it is not even in the car yet since it needs to be programmed. WHO KNEW the serial buss is BROKEN ( disconnected ) and would leave me sitting in a NO START condition! Thank you very VERY smart people @ Corvettefourm.com. If I didn't know THIS BIT it would have cost me HOURS of tail chasing !
" If you want to remove it permanently, you will need to jump out the GM lan bus wires (tan/tan with black strip) on the connector or the car will not start." Oh THAT!
So on the Black 12 pin connector C4 jump:
Pin 8 Tan/Black ( Hi speed serial buss + ) to pin 2 Tan/Black
(NOTE ON MY CAR ONE WIRE IS A TAN WHITE.. I'll have to go back and update this)
AND
Pin 9 TAN ( Hi speed serial buss - ) Pin 3 TAN
This re connects the BCM buss ( pins 8 & 9 ) to the ABS / TRANSMISSION / SUSPENSION / ECM / buss Pins 2 & 3.

This ( If I didn't KNOW that NOW ) would probably wind the car up on a tow truck and to the dealer on my knees wallet open.OR a 400 dollar China Tech2 clone and LOTS n LOTS of posts!!! It's not LOGICAL for such a device to pass thru important data like that... The BAD DESIGN flag it thrown! It should have been a MULT ( splice of data buss ) as opposed to a pass through !

Ya, can't break the bus! If the bus is broken the modules can't talk and you get a no start condition. You can jumper the input/output on all modules to take that module off the bus. Also, one quick way to know the bus is broken is the security light will stay on continuously (outside of security issues). FYI, the VCIM also controls blue tooth functions if car is equipped, along with the Onstar.

Earlier today
Using a connector from an old car alarm, I de pinned it and BAM perfect side for the jumper.. so I made one, installed my " wrecking yard " Onstar box and voila it worked.. I was able to call ONSTAR and speak with em.. I got a bit technical and told them I was not ready to ACTIVATE... CLICK.. but it works & the buss is independant , now, of the box.. WIN ! I still have no display for the compass .. does that come on when you are in motion ??
I wont get **** done tomorrow, minor surgery, Epidermoid cyst removal
But you KNOW I will be studying up for the WIRING HARNESS INSTALL !

What a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME with FACEY-PLANT.. 10 min of waiting 20 min of PROVING AGAIN there BP digital work stations are 40 points HIGH compared to a nurse's reading ( who actually KNOWS how take BP ) . 15 minutes talking about my lifestyle choices ( smoking vs eating more blueberries & meditating ) and the punch line.. OH NO this was not the day of the procedure, this was just a consult ! FFWWWAAACCCCKKKK !

Well that didn't go as planned.... at all
Re dressed areas of the harness & main battery cable...
and OF COURSE no one mentions we are out of electrical tape!!
There was no way to get the harness IN back around the engine block, the AUTO HARNESS is just a bit fatter . Intake OFF !
Special place in hell for PLASTIC INTAKES! and could you have made the vac line around the oil sender any tighter ???
All cleaned up,It would have had to come out anyway. A piece of the connector, was stuck for the oil pressure sender body... in the sender !!!!
And back to the way it was this AM 9-2
Oh. Power steering fluid loaded, AND I lost the cap for the brake fluid DERP !
2 doans pills & a 2 hr nap...later... ARRGGGHHH

But the harness is IN ( not connected... yet ) I still need to anchor the 2 brackets holding the main chunk round the bell housing, P/S is pinned in.. and the oil pressure sender is hooked up. David was going to help.... BUT the GF came by... sigh... so at least the heavy lifting is done, tomorrow will be less of a pain.

My neighbor had a thought... but I have to cut my old mount open to prove it....
He states ( and he's is a parts whole saler for 30 years ) that some of these mounts have hole plates internally ( like a gas shock ) to restrict the OIL FLOW internally as it gets crushed / uncrushed....
