Default HUD Intermittent & Nav and DIC dim

I have an '06 C6 and have a HUD display problem. I kerpnthe car garaged and about 6 months ago starting when I started tge car the HUD display did not come on. I checked the fuse - was ok, tried adjusting it, but nothing. I dropped off the car at the dealer but they saidvitcwas working fine. Sure enough it was. A few days later the same thing happened, but after about an hour in the sun, it came back on. Now it does not no matter how long its in the bright sun. I also notice that the Nav/audio display stays dim as well as the DIC. Further, but not every time, when I open the door I hear static from the speakers.
Does any if this make any sense, and anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,,,

An electrical gremlin somewhere. Could be numerous things. Intermittent electrical issues are at the top of the aggravation list to diagnose. One of the simplest electrical issues that cause gremlins, besides an actual electrical component fault, is loose ground connection points. There are 11 or 12 depending on MY. I did a thread last month in the general discussion section on a little routine maintenance checking tightness on ground lugs. I found two of eleven loose on my 09 MY. Search it, as someone also published a link to another thread with a graphic of the ground locs.

Other than that, I have no more suggestions where to start. Good luck, please keep us posted.
