Does anyone know what year's F55 shocks will fit an 06? Is it 05-2010? I am looking at these shocks(see pic) supposedly off an 08, but I don't see a p/n on them that crosses to anything on Rock or GM parts direct. Thanks in advance.

according to cultrag the part# for the front 06 shocks is 19302790 the rears have differnt right and left part numbers (rear right: 19302789 rear left: 19302788)

For 2005 through 2007 models the part numbers stay the same. For 2008 and on cars they revised the shocks

Thanks for the info...but does that mean they won't fit / connect and function ?

I am not aware of any instances where the 08+ magnetic shocks were used in an 05-07 car...

I just replaced my F55 shocks with a set of Bilstein Sports and had a performance alignment. One of the best mods I ever made on the car. There is no comparison in the way the car handles.

What year and model? Looked for info, but you have no profile.

The DRM's have a little better valving job that the sports (both are Blisteen shocks), but your still back to either using simulators, or just programing out the F55 module to do the swap.

Of the two options, it's better to program out the F55 module and unplug it, then to use the shock simulators since they can burn out over time with the F55 module still in play doing nothing instead.

As for better (OEM or Blisten shocks) it all depends on how you drive the car. The Blistens will have a much harsher ride (drm's will hold the car a little more leveler), but agreed that the car will handle better with them instead.

Hence the F55 system gave the option to allow the shocks to be less harsher riding in cruse setting instead.
