Advice needed
Hey all,
Someone pointed out to me that my reverse lights weren't working.
I ignored it for a while until, I had to backup in the driveway at night and realized I couldn't see. So off I went to Parts Authority and got the Part.
Today I had time to do the swap. I took a quick look at one of the video's to show me where it was. Put the car up on the ramps and I jumped and dived in. So I noticed the switch was right there on the left side and said this going to be easier then I thought. I proceeded to unscrew the switch and low and be hold the tranny fluid came vomiting out. About a half a quart. I took the wrong one out and put it back. I swapped out the reverse switch. I refilled it using the same hole the reverse switch was in. Was that ok? Also, I put a little teflon tape on the threads. Was that ok too?
