You could not get a Z51 in 2009. 2008 was the last year for the Z51. 2008 is the year can get a 6060 that has both the correct output shaft and cooler that will bolt into a 2006 or 2007 Z51.
Also, European Z51 cars had a cooler, so you can add a cooler to base diff with factory parts. I have one.

All auto cars from 06-13 have a 30 spline output shaft. 2010+ Grand Sport Manual transmission cars have a 30 spline output shaft and the Z06 differential.
Z51 was available in 2009 according to my GM parts rep. The KNR differential cooler package requires more than just parts acquired from your dealer. You must machine your pinion gear for the differential pump drive as well.
