1st -4th overide
Installed a 1-4 override today. Very easy install and works great. Purchased from forum vendor. Now my C6 shifts 1-2 without any issues with speed. Would not have known about this without the forum. What a great site for vet owners.

Yes, I did the harness. Tried to do the fuse deal but my fuse was also connected to side marker lights and the tail lights, disable the fuse and the lights also stopped working. The harness bypass was really easy. Took longer to raise the car than install the harness.

The skip shift indicator light will still come on even with the harness installed. It is telling you that the computer is sending the lockout signal to the trans which is intercepted by the harness which tells the computer all is well. I have the same harness that I had on my 99 convertible. I took it off before I traded it in and installed it on my 13 GS when I bought it new and after more than 5 years and a combined 50,000 miles between both cars it still operates flawlessly and I don't even pay attention to the indicator light anymore.
