Looking to buy some Cylinder heads for my LS2 real soon and cant decide. I was orginally going to buy TEA Trick Flow 225s at the cost of $2700 and the more i researched i find alot of companys making "As Cast Heads" for half the price but claim nearly the same performance. The trick flow as cast heads are $1500. Im assuming the as cast heads are cast. Any issue with cast heads on the ls2? Its a nitrous car and going to be bumping the spray up to 250 shot. Any recomendations on which heads...."best bang for buck" kinda think. Im running a FAST 102 and NW102 throttle body already
All heads are going to be cast aluminum, some just have a cnc program run on them afterwards to optimize air flow. Give Brian Tooley Racing a call. He can take the trick flow 220 as cast and hand port it to be as good as the 225 cnc heads for less money. Plus you get his valve springs. That is what I have on my car and made right at 500 rwhp with a 233/239 cam with only .600 lift, so I'm not even taking full advantage of the potential these heads have.

Good lord I don't even remember what cam I have in my car! Been 3 1/2 years since I put it in. I had to dig up my cam card and you are right. AI 230/238 .605/.605 112 lsa cam here. Been throwing around the idea of having BTR spec me a cam to take full advantage of these heads.

You sure it's not a 113 LSA?
I have read your build thread a dozen times. You have a nice set up.
