Default M6 trans cooler lines question

Can they 1) be removed ? and plugged at the trans ? or can they be removed and replaced with braided steel hosing.. the ones by the header are too closet to the ground and rub against the header ..

Yes, several options to either swap them with stainless or just eliminate them by looping output to input.

I'll dig up parts to do it tomorrow

I just put a rubber tranny line between the two in the rear with hose clamps. It is not a high pressure system.

Is that go for all c6s not a high pressure system? And down sides just making it loop with no cooler?

Well, you don't have a cooler anymore is probably the biggest downside. If you road race or do something that requires a cooler that is bad. If you just drive around town, do some 1/4 mile/.5 mile stuff its fine.

This is pretty coincidental. I am in the middle of my AA install and don't like the run of the lines either. I don't do any road racing, will be lucky if I ever end up at a dragstrip. I'm tempted to cap mine off too. I'd like to eliminate the clutter around the SC.

I meant cap off the radiator ports, it's obvious the feed return lines need to be looped.
