Well keep in mind everything is relative, not all dynos are the same, corrections are not all the same, and even stock tune / miles on engine, ECM OS version, etc have a factor. This is why its "general" for sure.

I've been on 4 different dynos in the last 8 years. My first dyno pull showed 306 stock and then tuned to 320. My last one was 394. The highest was 411 and the other one peaked at 386.
My 1/4 mile times went from a best 12.41 stock to 10.80 modded.
The only number that you can trust that has controls for repeatability are the industry standards used on engine dynos. However, they generally advertise round numbers that occur at 100 RPM intervals.
Dynos are a tuning tool. The only result that means anything is the difference between the first and last pull of the same session.
If all you want is a sheet to put on your dash at car shows, it's a lot cheaper to download one with the HP you like and photoshop in your name.

Spot on and love the last bold statement!
My LS2 A6 car put down 420/427 on a Vengence dyno, no modifications and went to PCMofNC and put down 400/400.
The funny part is it felt better after Alvin tuned the car!

Id say 350-370 should be the norm for ls3 through an a6. And of course there are cars that dyno on either end of those numbers. Don't get too caught up in the end hp numbers. I was kinda bummed when my car only dyno'd 417whp after spending a bunch of money coming up from 408whp. But once I saw the new 10.7x timeslip from the old 11.3x with all other factors essentially the same I stopped caring about the horsepower number.
Dynoed bone stock through an A6@376rwhp sae corrected back then.goin back this sat. to redyno for a base line pull before I install my A&A kit.usual bolt ons-intake,long tube headers no cats, borla stingers catback and a stage2 blower cam from Arun@CCP.
My 2008 A6 did 376 and 378, I have not done my 2012. But from what I can remember back then...that was the average for automatics, the stick cars did better but not by too much
