Just replaced the O2 sensors on my 2005 C6. Went to smog it and there is an error with the O2 Sensor Heater(?). It wont pass. Also through an EVAP error. I was told that the sensor issue is easer to fix.
I searched the forums and all I could find is C5 Replies.
In addition to what Kenny said, how many miles did you drive it before getting it smogged? Is it possible the PCM hasnt had a chance to (re)learn the new O2 sensor?

This. In order to pass emissions, the computer has to show a "ready" signal from all (or most of) the monitors. If you haven't driven enough, it will show a "not ready" status. Every time you erase a code, unhook the battery, or replace certain parts, the system resets. Most scanners these days can tell you the status of each of these monitors. Some, like misfire, reset quickly. O2 heater can take longer, and the evap purge can take days or many miles.
This requirement is to prevent people from clearing codes and getting smogged before they come back on.

Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
TIA
Actually I think I saw a fuse for the 02 sensors, #6 under hood box as a example the 2006 model that I have, could be as easy as that, since you said they are newly replaced.
The evap error could be that the evap solenoid valve has failed or purge valve. Could also be a leak error. The scanner should read as to which one it is.
If the valve failed to close when the OBD is calling for a evap system self check for leaks, it will throw the code.
I had to replace mine with low miles, located behind the right rear wheel attached to the inside frame rail.

Thanks for all the feedback. Had the tuner do some "tuning work" problem solved!
