Default Engine mounts to lower engine Z06

Hi guys,

Due to excessive rubbing (actual grinding on the top) of my Fast 102 lsxr intake on the cowling i need to get my engine to sit lower in the bay.

Need advice on lower engine mounts. I know Hinson does 3/8", but does anyone do any lower than that? Urethane is preferred. Car is a weekend warrior / trackday car.

PFADT? Ive heard they lower the engine about 1 inch, is this true?

Thanks!

I have the Hinson with a FAST 102 in a base car and have zero issues with fitment.

Pfadts dont lower.

Hinsons work as advertised and drive nicely.

LG has billet ones but I believe they are stock height.

I believe I saw in one of their latest posts that part of their revision to their new lighter design, they're slightly shorter to accommodate the various intake manifolds that cause cowl clearance issues.

You are correct.

Then again I would NEVER put solid mounts in a daily car. The pfadts are bad enough and they have a bushing.

Hinson all the way unless its a race car, then LGs.

Agreed...solid mounts on a daily, or even a seldom driven street car is just asking to create every rattle imaginable inside your car.
