Default Noon question

This is my first corvette and I don't want to make mistake and buy parts that are not needed or will not fit. I have a 2009 base ls3. I'm wanting to do mods to it but my question comes in as to ls3 ls3 ls3 ls3 parts are readily available. Will parts interchange or does ls3 have to have only ls3 parts. Headers intake exhaust supercharger. I'm sure it's been asked several times I didnt see sorry if it's a repeat question

Not sure exactly what you are asking but any change in parts has to be complaint to the host.

Yes some parts are interchangeable between models but I would always be sure a new part will be accepted by the receiving car.

Some things like headers are very model specific as is many other parts.

For instance an LS3 in a Camaro will require different headers than one in a Corvette.

Be more specific with parts next time and I am sure you will get the correct help.

Most part supply sites now offer a link confirming the use towards a specific vehicle.

Depends on the parts. If they bolt to the heads, usually no. Maf is also different on ls2 cars. Ls7 cars use different stuff too.

So it all just depends on what part specifically your talking about.

Sorry when I wrote it it sounded better in my head.

Question is will headers for almost any c6 fit a c6. I find many sets of headers for ls7 ls9 for sale and intakes but that's where the NOOB comes in.

Thanks for helping

Maybe.
Depends on brand, flange, xpipe.

LS7 run a d shape flange. ls3 circle flange. LS7/9 use a 3" xpipe connection, ls2/3 use a 2.5". Some cars have oil/water coolers that effect headers, others do not.

So maybe, but you should just buy the parts that fit your year/model of car.
