Redline fluids and volume capacity for 2008 Base Coupe.
Season Greetings All.
as indicated, one of my spring projects for my"08 when she awakens from her winter slumber will be a complete flush and replacement of all fluids...PS, PB, tranny, rear diff and coolant. I know the oil capacity is 5.5 qt. However, despite looking in the manual and talking with 3 or 4 Chevy Service departments, nobody call tell me the volume of fluid for each of these. It seems to be a general consensus of the Forum that Redline synthetics are a good product. I would also assume that u have to add the additive to the rear diff. FYI, this is a 2008 C6 Coupe that I just bought with only 26k miles and my 3rd Vert but I always start out giving her fresh fluids . Thanks for all the responses in advance. Enjoy the Holidays.

The owners manual only lists the oil capacity as being 5.5 quarts for the engine and 6.5 quarts for the automatic transmission (flush, new filter and fill) In another section of the owners manual it lists the type of fluid to be used for specific areas, but never the volume needed.
