There are a number of adhesive removers readily available at a grocery store, auto parts store or hardware store or like Amazon.

I think most of us have used Goof Off. For what you have, looks like one of the aftermarket holder like I had on my '08, you will need to soak a cloth and somehow hold it against the adhesive to soften it. It can take several minutes, like 5-10,maybe several times, but keep at it, it will come off with no trace. Then clean and wax the paint.

I highly suggest Stoner Xenit, totally safe for vehicle paints and I have been using it for so many years!

When it comes to de badging and emblem removal, its what I reach for!

Hello,

Soak with WD40 and wait a few minutes. Then scrape of with thumbnail.

Be careful if you use Goof Off. It can remove paint (it took paint off my Subaru trying to get pine tree sap off).

Goo Gone will get rid of that adhesive quickly, with no danger of damage to the paint.

Try spray silicone, soak it and it will dissolve the adhesive without damaging anything.

There are likely a couple of things that you will have around the house. WD-40 works well on adhesive residue. Simple paint thinner will work fine also...not paint remover but just good old paint thinner.
