Default Wheel bearing thoughts

before I started tearing into this, I want to get some other thoughts. I have read through others posts on for the "grinding coming from front right wheel". one of the things I hadn't considered was the differential fluid change. Heres the issue, yesterday I was driving around 40 miles an hour and loud grinding noise started coming from my right front. The noise increases with wheel revolution. so loud I thought something got caught in my wheel that I didn't see. when I stopped to look I didn't see anything, and as I pulled away the noise was faint, but came and went as I drove around during the morning. When I drove back into my neighborhood I drove over one of our speed dips (very slowly as normal) and it started really loudly again. My original thought after pulling the wheel off and seeing nothing is that its a wheel bearing. after reading through some of the other posts there were other thoughts. I have a 2007 coupe base 6 speed with 32k miles. Any other thoughts before I tear into this thing?

so taking the wheel off and then the caliper would be too hard? take that off and you'd already have your answer

I would pull the wheel, or if nothing else, jack the car up and see if there is a lot of movement.

As Anthony said, jack the car up and grab the wheel jerk side to side up and down and see if you have any movement.
