T56 help T56 Gearset teeth counts
I have a wihn in my gear box and i took it apart today and maby some one have change the gearing in the gearbox.
i have counter the teeth to this:
main counter
1 39 19
2 43 28
3 37 33
4 31 36 this is the input
it this right?

And if you divide your gears to get final ratios, should be able to tell if you have a MM or MZ trans (if stock gearing of the two) or if the gears where change instead.

You have a MM6 (2.66/1.78/1.30/1.00). Inspect your head gear (input shaft) and the gear thats on the very front of the countershaft. Look for scoring/over heating. If you had whine in all gears except for 4th gear, it's those 2 gears that has been overheated.
