Billy Boat has long tube headers for C6's? Sure they are not mid length headers?

I don't understand why someone would lower their Vette, pretty low already

Yes they do, and they are one of the only brands if not the only that mates up directly to the factory mid-pipe in the event that you don't want to go that added expense. They do offer their own X-pipe to go with them if you want to go with the full system.

Have these TSP headers been redesigned to eliminate or reduce this low hanging tube problem?

I've read many complaints about the clearance issues on them (especially on lowered cars, which mine is), but I haven't heard much about them more recently. The price point is attractive for a SS system, but I'll spend more if they still hang this low...

I just installed Texas Speed long tubes/ X-pipe on my 2013 C6 base last weekend and highly recommend them. The fitment for install was perfect with no issues going in or rubbing anywhere, headers aren't too low(have yet to scrape anything and slightly lowered) and for about half the price vs Kooks/ARH I couldn't be any happier with how it came out. Ended up installing a Hooker Blackheart axle-back on the back end and LOVE the sound. I say go for it!

Thanks for your reply. I wonder if they have redesigned them, or if you're just not having the same issues due to your ride height? Is your car lowered? My Z06 is bottomed out on the factory bolts, hence my concern.

Can you share a pic or two regarding the ground clearance?

Lowered yes, but not bottomed out. The lowest point(driver side) sits higher than the front lip. If you don't have issues scraping the front lip, I think you should be ok.

Driver side here which is the lowest point and sits higher than the front lip.

Passenger side view.
