Default Texas speed headers help

hey guys, I recently bought some Texas speed long tube headers for my 06 c6. They came with an x pope and they bolt right on but the only thing is that I've seen other people with lowered vettes and same headers but they don't hang as low as mine. I was wondering if anyone has the same problem? I can't really take the vette to much places because the headers get the car stuck.

Man...that sucks after all the work to install. That's completely unacceptable fitment.

Unfortunately...take em off end send them back. Here's no way they are supposed to be like that.

I have a set of TSP headers, I have not had the best fitment but satisfied with price per quality. My headers have scrapped on my spirited runs through the local mountains.

Damn. So there are others with the same issue. I can't go over any speed bump because they get stuck and I don't want to break them. I guess I'm going to have to put my car back to stock height

mine hang low like the above pictures...but no where near as much as the OPs... mine scrape alot.. im getting rid of them...headers should not hang that low and they should have clamps or vbands ..not slip joints... they are good value for the money but i will by something else next time around... these came on the car.

Thats was the issue with me, I never heard mine scrape. Sense those pictures have been taken I've heard them scrape once and a larger speed bump crossing (4ft wide).

i honestly didnt think mine hung that low until i smashed the **** out of them on a speed bump......i should have gone a little faster instead of letting the suspension come back onto the speed bump..

another time i was driving like and ahole in some twistys and there was enough of a dip on the road that it and my speed was enough to compress the suspension enough to scrape the ell out of thdm

my fault... the other thing i dont like about the tsp headers is how close the o2 sensors are to the heat shields ..its damn near impossible to screw a new 02 sensor back into the bosses...

I was bothered by the first dent I got (pictured) but now I've sense forget about. I watched a cool video someone posted of a company doing a test of bent headers with no ill effects of horsepower (not starting a debate for non believers).

The LGs on my C5 hung low as well. Scraped on every speed bump. Pretty much made me regret getting them bc of the daily scraping.
