Default Oil Cooler Interference

I just completed changing out my 2011 Grand Sport 2.5" stock exhaust system using a stock Z06/ZR1 3" exhaust system. I previously added the Edelbrock supercharger which came with an oil cooler. It turns out the oil cooler that came with the 599 hp package is actually a Camaro 6.2l oil cooler and would not properly clear the new exhaust. I had to install a ZR1 oil cooler which set me back an additional $600 in order to clear the exhaust. I picked up 24 rwhp with the 3" exhaust.

24 hp with just the exhaust changes ? Nothing else?

I also got a new tune as a result of the exhaust change. The biggest benefit probably came from the Z06/ZR1 exhaust manifolds.

A friend of mine got caught in California during the visual exam for having ZO6 exhaust manifolds on his non ZO6. He had to go to a different exam station.
