Default C 6 Tail lights

Hi,
I'm usually over on the C1 or C 3 forums but my son in law has a 2007 coupe and asked for my help on a couple of problems he's having.
The first should be simple, one of his tail light bulbs has burned out and needs replaced. Where do you access the rear of the lamps to change bulbs, from inside the car or do you go underneath and reach up to get to the bulb?
The second question is tougher. The drivers side door release button operates on an intermittent basis. Seems he left the roof off , it rained lighty and I'm guessing the switch or mechanism got wet. Any thoughts on the culprit and the repair ?
Thanks in advance for any and all help. Rich jcmsp062@aol.com

The tailight has a torx head screw at the top. Self explanatory. Nee more info on which door switch.

Take the door switch out... 2 screws. Disconnect the wiring. Now take the switch apart... 4 screws iirc
Now clean the printed circuit board and the contacts.
Reassemble & reinstall.

The switch I'm asking about is the one that opens the door from the inside. It's mounted on the arm rest/handle

Put a small flathead under it and pop it out. Clean it or replace it - about a 5 minute job

And if you lose one of the screws you can always find replacements at Home Depot / Lowes: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1594387648
