I need advice on my muffler hangers....the dyno shop near 53090 welded the hangers (next to the original location) to the frame..I thought that at one time they were a pretty good shop...I trusted that they would do a good job installing my new Borla exhaust...I always thought the exhaust tips were too close...when I pulled the rear fascia off to get it painted and at the same time relocated my battery to the rear and a tow hook is when I noticed it...."what the H"...you can still see the marks they used on the bottom of the frame to position the hangers...not even painting them after...."REALLY" ...I actually walked about a mile using more swear words than one could imagine....more than Danica used the other night at the race track....I am also thinking of making a plate with elongated (slotted) holes to slide it left or right and then drill and tap holes into it and mounting the new hangers to it with some short bolts...i think the only reason why is because i have a custom diffuser and the tips were coming close to the sides...why they just didn't trim the diffuser opening (fiberglass) is beyond me...a high speed dremel tool with a saw blade would have done the trick....not only that... it looks like they didn't even take off the impact foam on the back while they tacked them into place...not even a call to let me know what they were thinking of doing...so here is my sketch of what I am thinking of doing
