Loud Suspension Clunk
I just got my 2009 C6 Coupe put back together and I have one problem i cannot track down
When i go over a rough patch or road i get a horrible loud suspension clunk or pop on the passenger side. Took it by a tire shop today to get an alignment and i asked them about it and they are not sure, they said it might be a bad lower ball joint, but i do not feel any play in the ball joint when it is on a lift, they also though it might be a missing rubber on the lowering bolt on the leaf spring.
What is the symptom of a bad lowering bolt, does it squeak, does it bang / pop????
Now, after i got it aligned, i think it is better then it was, it is still there, but it seems that it does not happen as often.
When i say loud i mean loud, i will try and get a recording and post a link.
