C6 Engine fuse block
2008 base model C6, 49,000mi. How often do they need replacement ? I took it to the Chevy dealer a week ago to fix traction system warning and check engine light. Dealer replaced accelerator pedal for $496 and said both problem were fixed. Traction system light returned 2 days later and check engine light also returned, still derivable . A few days later and less than 80 miles driven it wouldn't start. Towed back to same dealer and they now say engine fuse block is no good and want $950 to replace. Never had a problem with it until dealer "fixed" it. I've been burned before by mechanics who sabotaged another car years ago. Could the same thing be happening now ?
