I had a TCI starter in my car that went bad, i am guessing from the heat.. What is recommend as a replacement. Forged, blown high heat maker.. Also thinking about the DEI starter shield as well to cover it..
Running an autozone starter, zero issues. Then again I had zero issues with my OEM starter besides the $20 solenoid failing, which is easy to replace. Put the autozone one on because wanted car to run while waiting on a solenoid, and now have the OEM one sitting as a back up with new solenoid to use if ever needed.
