Default Intermittent Problem with Auto Memory Recall - Help please.

I have a 2011 Grand Sport, with 3LT, manual transmission. Lately I've been experiencing an intermittent problem with the auto memory recall.

Here's a brief description:
- When I get in and press the memory recall #1 on the door, the drivers seat returns to its programmed position.
- But 2/3 of the time, the steering wheel does not return to its programmed position. I have to manually move the steering wheel by pressing the adjustment button on the steering column.
Yet whenever I turn off the car and open the door, both the seat AND the steering wheel move to their programmed exit positions.

As I said, the problem is intermittent. Sometimes both the seat and the steering wheel move; But about 2 out of 3 times, only the seat moves.

I've tried reprograming both the entry and exit memory positions, but no change. Could there be a loose wire/connection somewhere that I should be checking? Any suggestions for how to diagnose & repair the problem would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you.

Sure could be a dirty or loose fitting connection to the steering wheel adjusting motor.
Mine is finicky also, sometimes to get the seat moving, I have to manually move it up slightly, hit the button and all works again.
