LS2 Headers on a LS1

Hello, forum. I did some research and wasn't able to find much about this ...Anyway, I have a set of Kooks Long Tube headers and Mid-Pipe that came off my 2005 LS2. A buddy of mine mentioned wanting to buy them for his 2003 LS1. I was wondering if they will fit his Vette.

they should bolt up to the motor itself just fine but I have not seen any headers that fit both the C5 and C6 so I would say they will likely not work. Someone else may know for sure but its doubtful.

LS6 heads and LS2 heads are almost identical. So LS6 headers should work fine.

The main question is if they will for a C5. Knowing how tight everything is on these cars I doubt they will work. Header flanges should be ok but the rest of the pipes will likely not fit. I could be wrong but I have not seen any headers listed as C5/C6 headers.

If your friend is just looking for cheap headers, I highly recommend the Texas Speed units. Mine fit perfectly and look really good.
