Default Tpms question

I had a tire go flat on the front right corner of my c6z.
I have new tires ordered from tire rack cause these are 90% used up.
I would like to still drive my car around for a couple days until the new tires arrive.
If if throw on the extra c5 wheels I have in the garage onto the front of this car, will it run, or will I be limited to 55 or something of the sort. The c5 wheels don't have tpms

Thanks
Dave

You will just have an annoying light on your dash. No worries. I run no TPMS at all in my drag wheels.

There is a sensor under the dash under the steering wheel you can unhook to defeat the TPMS but it will also disable ABS. Should be ok for a few days worth of regular driving. I haven't tested it but from what I have read if the TPMS sensors do not read right it will be in some sort of Limp Mode power wise and have heard stories of brakes being applied randomly because of this. I would rather unplug the connector under the dash rather than risk putting it in the ditch or oncoming traffic.

I cant seem to find the info now I found last week on this connector, but if you pop off the panel under the steering wheel, the one with the fuel door and hatch release, it should be the white connector attached to it with only 1 or 2 wires running in and out of it. sorry I cant be more help.

I didn't give up! found it

You have nothing to worry about except the light
